HiGrow Core Team is ready to organize the research

(2001): HiGrow Developed R&D Core Team in Chicago

HiGrow achieved a critical early milestone: the assembly of its first dedicated Research & Development (R&D) team, focused on solar inverters, energy conversion systems, and early-stage battery integration technologies.

Original Event Date: December 3, 2001.

Chicago, IL, December 2, 2001: HiGrow Technologies reported first core team for Research & Development focused on solar inverters, energy conversion systems, and early-stage battery integration technologies.

Operating out of a shared space in Chicago, this cross-disciplinary team brought together engineers, material scientists, and software developers — all united by a vision of a sustainable energy future.

The team’s primary goal was to investigate and prototype small-scale energy solutions that could be adapted for homes, shops, and remote areas with unstable power infrastructure.

This strategic investment into in-house R&D laid the foundation for HiGrow’s future product lines, including what would eventually become the Inverters, and later, energy storage systems used globally.
